Once a troll woman who lived in a hill named Pila Kull spun flax for a farmer’s wife in the village of Hölminge. As reimbursement the troll requested that the villagers refrain from growing flax in the village since trolls cannot tolerate flax. Naturally, the people cultivated as much flax as they possibly could!
