In the Middle Ages the cruel sheriff Trotte used to execute people at the Galgahallarna (The Gallow Cliffs). They had to hang by their arms in the cleft between the rocks until they were dead. To prevent them from falling down large stones were placed on their arms.
NOTE. From the parking to the cabinet it is a walk of about 1.5 km
