The big rock in the forest is named after the priest Ivar. So holy was he that he could walk on water. But one day he sinned. He prayed for forgiveness and that the Lord should split the rock in two if his prayer was heard.

DIRECTIONS TO THE LOCATION: If you're driving from Ljungby on road 25, you can't turn left directly towards Ivars Church because of the median barrier. Continue a short distance until you see a left-turn sign towards Hallarp. Make a U-turn back towards Ljungby, so that you can turn onto the road towards Ivar's Church from here.
